The Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre (HRC) Kiosk is operated by the HRC Volunteers and is located on the ground floor of the centre in Block 1.

The Kiosk sells a variety of food and beverage items to patients, staff and visitors of Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre.

Duties • Opening and closing duties • Greeting customers who enter the kiosk • Assisting shoppers to find the food and beverages they are looking for • Operating the cash register, processing cash and card payments and ensuring that money handling is line with set guidelines • Stocking shelves with merchandise • Answering queries from customers • Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor • Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers • Assisting in making and providing special food items on selected days and general kitchen duties • Undertaking training to become a barista by preparing and providing barista made coffee in a timely and safe manner • General housekeeping duties including wiping over shelves, benches and tables • Keeping the Kiosk tidy and clean and following safe food handling procedures • Barcoding and pricing stock items as delivered • Ensuring security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc. • Receiving, storing and removing the delivery of stock • Delivering newspapers and reading material to inpatients of HRC

Hours of Service Operating times: 08:30am - 2:30pm - various shifts Days: Monday - Friday (excluding public holidays) Location of shift: Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre Kiosk, Block 1 207-235 Hampstead Road, Lightsview, Adelaide SA 5085
