MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteer Visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have a delightful lady, born in Hungary, who would benefit from your kind company. She used to work as a Kitchen Hand in aged care homes before moving to Australia to become a Rusebud local. She enjoys listening to Hungarian music, walks in the garden and friendly conversation.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to at least fortnightly visits for a minimum of 12 months.

Hungarian communication skills are required for this recipient, however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to the same language are very welcome to enquire.
