About the Role

The Facility Volunteer works alongside the Operations & Property Manager at ASRC Footscray to assist with the everyday maintenance and operations of the centre.

Program: Office Management

The Office Management team helps sustain the ASRC as a whole and improve the operational capacity of the centre. This program houses the primary functions of administration, reception, operations and facilities management which are all integral to the everyday running of the ASRC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting any defect of equipment, furniture or fitting in the kitchen or other office area to the operations and property manager.
  • Ensuring tidiness and cleanliness of meeting rooms, kitchen and kitchen appliances at all times.
  • Ensuring collection of dirty glassware and utensils from the foyer for washing at least twice a day, morning and afternoon.
  • Responsible for keeping adequate stocks of condiments, office materials/supplies and ensuring they are stored safely.
  • Manage client’s coffee/tea station including topping up the condiments.
  • Ensure the staff kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.
  • Keep stock of office stationery and kitchen consumables and order/re-order when necessary.
  • Any other duties as may be delegated by the manager.
