Join the team, share some morning tea, and see some of the Hunter Valley that you might not ordinarily have easy access to and be part of practical, hands-on positive environmental change! Gain experience in conservation and land management, maintain (or increase) your level of fitness and physical activity, learn new skills.
- Native tree planting
- Riverbank resoration
- Collecting seed and growing native plants
- Bush regeneration
- Weed management
- Wildlife and vegetation monitoring
- Landcare support and building community partnerships
- Removing rubbish from waterways
- Monitoring and adding information to citizen science databases
Formal training (First Aid, Chem Qual, Chainsaw Operators' certificate) is available to regular volunteers.
