Anda would greatly benefit from someone who would be happy to chat over a cup of tea/coffee. She is from Latvia and would love to be able to chat in her native language however just as happy to speak English. Our recipient is part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) which supports isolated and lonely people who are receiving aged care services in an aged care home or through a home care package.

The program encourages volunteers to provide friendship and companionship to older people on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
