Our Patient Support Volunteers play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for patients and their families during their healthcare journey. You'll be the sunshine in someone's day, offering a listening ear, a helping hand, and a touch of human connection.

What You'll Do:

• Provide companionship and emotional support: Spend time with patients, listen to their stories, give a massage, and offer a friendly presence.
• Assist with practical tasks: deliver newspapers, refresh flowers, help with meals,
• Organise and participate in wards groups and activities: Lead games, crafts, or social events to create a sense of community and boost morale.
• Respect patient confidentiality and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Assist staff in delivering meals from the cart to patients' rooms.
• Help patients open containers and ensure they have everything they need.
