Mothers Milk Bank Charity is a dedicated charity that provides life-saving Pasteurised Donated Human Milk (PDHM) to neonates in need across the region. Our mission is to offer nourishment and hope to vulnerable infants, supporting health and development through the generosity of milk donors.

Role Overview We are seeking a compassionate and organized individual to join our team as a Logistics and Customer Service Volunteer. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of milk collection, storage, and distribution processes, as well as providing outstanding service to our donors and recipients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics Support: Assist in coordinating the transportation of donated milk from collection points to our processing facility and ultimately to hospitals and families.
  • Customer Service: Provide responsive and empathetic support to queries from potential donors and recipients. Inform and guide them through the donation and acquisition processes respectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of donations, inventory, and distributions in our database.
  • Outreach and Education: Help raise awareness about the benefits of PDHM and encourage community participation in donation drives. Ideal Candidate
  • Empathetic Communicator: Excellent communication skills, capable of handling sensitive topics with compassion and understanding. Detail-Oriented Organizer: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Community-Focused: A passion for charitable work, particularly in supporting maternal and infant health.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computer systems for data entry and communication.
