Imagine not seeing or hearing from anyone for days, weeks or months. Loneliness can have far reaching effects on our aging population and knowing someone who cares will visit regularly can have a positive impact on the wellbeing. Volunteers are matched with clients to visit for 2 hours per week supporting them to make connections in their local community or provide companionship. This role requires visiting clients in their own home to provide support for one to two hours a week between 9.00am to 5.00pm.
