Our French speaking resident was from Mauritania and lives in Biggera Waters. He loves having conversations, walks in the garden and bowls. Many residents in aged care facilities have little contact with friends and relatives and some will feel isolated from their culture and language. Your once a fortnight visit will help improve their wellbeing and can make a positive difference to their lives as well as yours.

Volunteers must be 18 years old and above. All volunteers will receive training, orientation, ongoing support from the ACVVS Coordinator. A requirement of this role is that you complete a Police Check at no expense to you.
