All new volunteers are provided with an orientation to the hospital and role, initial and ongoing support from the Volunteer Manager and Shift Volunteer Team Leader helps to ensure volunteers are comfortable, confident, and happy in their roles.

Key Responsibilities Meet and greet people attending the Wellington Outpatient Clinics with a clear understanding of confidential issues. Set up and pack up the beverage trolley. Liaise with Clinic staff. Offer and if they would like make patients and their carer a drink and provide a biscuit. Provide information about hospital facilities and amenities, and the surrounding areas. Maintain statistical information about the assistance supplied. *Perform other reasonable tasks as designated by the Shift Team Leader.
