MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have a friendly gentleman who would benefit from your friendship. He enjoys conversation, watching Vietnamese news and TV programs.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly visits or at least fortnightly visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.

Good Vietnamese and English communication skills are desired for this recipient, however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to the same language are very welcome to enquire.
