  Position: Executive Committee Member - Treasurer (Voluntary) Are you passionate about wildlife conservation and animal welfare? Do you possess CPA or equivalent accounting qualifications? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact with WA Wildlife.

  Responsibilities: As the Treasurer of WA Wildlife, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our organisation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Executive Committee to develop financial policies and lead strategic planning.
  • Managing the financial affairs of WA Wildlife in accordance with accounting standards, ACNC regulations, and other legislative requirements.
  • Providing monthly and annual financial reports to the Executive Committee to support informed decision-making.
  • Overseeing accounting practices, including annual audits and reserves management.
  • Collaborating with senior management, the organisation's accountant and bookkeeper to maintain financial integrity.
