Tasks and Responsibilities:

Ensure the Management Committee's understanding of financial obligations and tax regulations. Oversee the development and implementation of financial management policies, including fraud prevention measures. Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, prepare accurate financial reports, and enter invoices into financial management software (MYOB) Develop and manage annual budget, and monitor income, expenses, and cash flow. Collaborate with auditors to ensure accounting standards compliance, and prepare audit documentation. Prepare and submit returns to authorities (Fair Trading QLD, ACNC, ATO) Required Skills:

Qualifications and experience in accounting or finance. Proficiency in financial management software (MYOB or similar). Passion for our mission and a desire to make a positive impact Knowledge of Australian taxation would be favorable.
