Commitment Regular - more than 6 months
Training On the job training will be provided.
Time required Time requirement is fully flexible. As a guideline, the Administrative Assistant will spend the equivalent of about a half-day per week (3-4 hours) at the office of the Radio Station in Victor Harbor which can be spread over more than one day of the week at the volunteers convenience.
Reimbursement Out of pocket travel expenses will be reimbursed with approval of the Board of Management.
Requirements National Police Certificate The person will have some or all of the following skills, attributes, experience:
- Minimal experience is required (we will train you), but it will be a bonus to have some previous experience in an administrative role in a volunteer organisation, and/or have administrative experience in a successful business, government or non-profit organisation.
- Written communication and verbal skills.
- The ability to work as part of a small team.
- Some computer competency skills to be able to use professional office software (email, word processing e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets).
Hours: as this is a voluntary position, the Administrative Assistant will be expected to attend the office on a weekday(s) but this can take the form of fully flexi-hours
