Logo for National Trust of Australia (Vic)

The National Trust of Australia (Victoria) (NTAV) is an independent, non-profit organisation supported by a large community base. We are Victoria's premier heritage and conservation organisation and the major operator of historic properties and sites open to the public across Victoria. At NTAV, our members are the lifeblood of our organisation, supporting our efforts in preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Victoria.

As a Membership Ambassador, you will have the unique opportunity to represent NTAV at major events and busy open days across various sites. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with visitors and educate them about the benefits of NTAV membership, with the ultimate goal of converting them into dedicated members.

What's more, you'll receive comprehensive training and mentorship from our experienced Membership Manager, John. Whether you have a background in sales or not, we welcome individuals who are comfortable striking up conversations and passionate about sharing the importance of our membership program.

Volunteering with NTAV's Membership Ambassador Team offers a flexible and rewarding experience. You can choose to be based at one location or travel to different metro sites throughout the year. You will volunteer in groups of 3-4, as it fosters collaboration and enhances the effectiveness of our outreach efforts. We would also like to visit busy regional events when the opportunity arises.

Our ideal volunteers are available primarily on weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays during midday hours (approximately 11 am to 2 pm). This schedule allows for maximum engagement with property visitors during peak times.

Joining the Membership Ambassador Team is not only an opportunity to contribute to the preservation of Victoria's heritage but also a chance to develop valuable skills, connect with like-minded individuals, and make a tangible difference in our community.

If you're ready to embark on this exciting journey with us and become an advocate for NTAV's mission, we invite you to apply to join our Membership Ambassador Team today. Together, we can work towards a future where our cultural heritage is cherished and celebrated by all.
