As a Legacy volunteer, you play a crucial role in supporting the families of veterans. Your role as a volunteer can include:

Companionship and Support

•Build meaningful connections with Legacy families •Offer emotional support and companionship during challenging times •Provide practical support to older widows to ensure their social welfare •Help coordinate social events for widows and families

Advocacy

•Advocate for the rights and well-being of Legacy families to ensure they receive their entitlements and benefits •Raise awareness about the challenges faced by the families of veterans

Mentorship

•Provide guidance and mentorship to Legacy youth •Inspire and empower the next generation through positive role modelling

Fundraising

•Contribute to Legacy’s mission by participating in fundraising activities •Organise activities in your local area to help raise funds and awareness to support Legacy families in need

We are also looking to fill specific roles of a Group Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.
