Waterloo Bushfire Brigade
Bushfire brigade volunteers play a significant and vital role in helping to ensure their local communities are safe.No experience is necessary all volunteer firefighters are trained and equipped to carry out a range of activities including:
- Emergency response to fires.
- Undertaking fire prevention activities.
- Supporting other emergency service agencies across the state.
- Community education and engagement.
Your duties and responsibilities:
- Attend emergency incidents when available.
- Act in a professional manner whilst on brigade duties.
- Regularly attend scheduled brigade training.
- Adhere to the Shire of Dardanup and DFES Procedures and Polices
- Follow instructions from superior officers and the chain of command.
- Be reasonably physically fit.
