We’re looking for a friendly person who would love to brighten the day of an older lady in Scone who is in need of some company for weekly or fortnightly social support. Our client enjoys doing puzzles, playing solitaire on her iPad and watching wrestling shows.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
