Volunteer to change lives. Yours included. This volunteer opportunity will help to enrich the life of an older person who is living at home through regular visits and social support. By connecting with an older person, your friendship can help reduce social isolation and help maintain a sense of connection to the local community.

Your availability will be matched with an older person in the community based on shared interests, hobbies, skills, culture and identity.

Social Support Connectors do not need to have any previous experience in aged care. If you are patient, reliable and have a genuine interest in making a positive difference to the life of an older person, this is a great opportunity for you.

Our team will match you with a client that has similar likes to you. Our team is close knit and more like an extended family.

Tasks involved include:

• Approved visits with the older person may happen in their home or in the community at local venues such as local shopping centres, coffee shops, local parks etc.
