Volunteer LAP Mentors (Mentoring school students 5-16 Years)

Trinity College Blakeview

Trinity College Blakeview, an Anglican R-10 school located in Blakeview is seeking volunteer LAP Mentors to meet with a student from Reception to Year 10 once a week for 50 Minutes. The LAP Program supports students who struggle to engage in their schooling for a variety of reasons and may benefit from connecting with a regular mentor. Students and mentors work together on fun and engaging activities that may help to assist in self-esteem, resilience, positive role modelling, developing a talent or even helping with homework. Being a volunteer LAP Mentor is a great way to develop skills in relationship building, can be included on your CV and provides a great deal of self-satisfaction in being able to help.
