MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home, through ongoing friendship.

We are seeking a volunteer visitor for a gentleman who would benefit from company for conversation about current events and sharing ideas. He enjoys art, some craft and reading as well as outings to local art exhibitions or the librrary.

Being a volunteer visitor makes a positive difference to another person's life, brings mutual joy and is flexible - is this is a role for you?

You need to be warm, caring, reliable, sociable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.
