Bush Fire Service (BFS) volunteers play a significant and vital role in helping to ensure their local communities are safe. As a volunteer you will be fully trained and equipped to carry out a range of activities including:

  • Responding to bush and scrub fires
  • Structural firefighting·
  • Controlled burns·
  • Fire prevention·
  • Supporting other emergency services when required

Volunteering is an opportunity to become an integral part of our fun hardworking team and offers many benefits such as:·
