The Mover encourages full class participation. The Mover is a role model, with contagious enthusiasm and positivity. The teacher may assign the Mover different roles in the class, such as mentoring the progress of a small number of participants, demonstrating movement in a varied view, supervising breakout rooms, sharing positive and encouraging feedback.

The Mover assists the teacher by:

• Helping to provide specific and personalised feedback on participants' progress, positive behaviour and achievements.
• Encouraging participants to be independent and being mindful not to 'over-assist'.
• Supporting and rewarding positive behaviours
• Modifying their communication style where needed (for example, use visual aids, sign language, eye contact, allowing time to respond, short/concise sentences) to suit the learning strengths of the participants, as directed by the teachers.
