MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have a delightful lady living in the Mornington area who would benefit from your friendship and companionship. She enjoys a cuppa, friendly chat and leisurely browse of her local shops.

If you are looking for volunteer role that is flexible, gives mutual reward and allows you to develop new friendships, contact us to learn more about this great opportunity.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to at least fortnightly visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.

Good English communication skills are required, however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to the same language are very welcome to enquire.
