We have a resident in aged care in Beachmere, who would greatly benefit from a one-on-one visit from a volunteer. He would really love to share his stories of when he lived and worked in China as a Civil Engineer. The facility has a large, beautiful deck overlooking the bay, where you and the gentleman could enjoy a coffee from the cafe and take in the ever-changing view. 

  Visits can take place either mornings or afternoons. Volunteers must be 18 years old and above and all volunteers will receive training, orientation, ongoing support from the ACVVS Coordinator. A requirement of this role is that you complete a Police Check at no expense to you.

  A meet & greet and site orientation will need to take place before commencement (staff are on-site during business hours Monday to Friday). Please help us to combat isolation – apply today!
