As a volunteer with IHF you will play a vital role in supporting your local health services in West Moreton Region. This role involves assisting the IHF team in purchasing grocery items, sorting grocery items and re-stocking vending machines at Gatton Hospital.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick-up stock from Gatton Coles or IGA
  • Assist in storing / sorting excess stock in the Store Room.
  • Re-stock the vending machines and re-program the machine with the determined prices.
  • Record all volunteer hours via Volunteer Management Mobile App.
  • Ensure vending machines comply with ‘A Better Choice’ guidelines.
  • Receive purchased goods from online supplier, if required.

Skills Required:

  • Current Driver’s Licence, or the ability to get to Gatton Hospital weekly as required.
  • Basic computer skills to re-program the machine.
  • Be physically fit and capable of safe manual lifting.
  • A focus on safety and understanding of WH&S policies and procedures.
  • Reliable
  • Ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
