Music has the power to soothe the soul, uplift the spirit, and bring joy even in challenging times. As a Music Volunteer at Hollywood Private Hospital, you'll create a more positive and healing environment for our patients, families, and staff.

We are seeking volunteers to play their instrument (solo, duo or small groups welcome) weekly or fortnightly at Hollywood Private Hospital. Shifts times are flexible and are normally between 1-2 hours between the hours of 830am and 530pm.

What you will do:

• Perform solo or in small ensembles in designated areas of the hospital, such as waiting rooms, on the ward, and cafeterias.
• Select music that is appropriate for the hospital setting and caters to diverse patient populations and preferences.
• Interact with patients, families, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
• Be a positive presence and contribute to a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere.
• Follow all hospital policies and procedures, including patient confidentiality and infection control.

What We're Looking For:

• Passion for music and a desire to share your talent with others.
• Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability and commitment to regular volunteer shifts.
• Ability to adapt to different settings and patient needs.
• A positive and compassionate attitude.
