As a Walking Group Helper the role involves: • walking 1-1 alongside a resident • engaging socially with residents • providing encouragement to residents • assisting to push residents in wheelchairs (where able). The walking group enhances the overall well-being of our residents through enabling participation in physical activating, encouraging access to the outdoors and engaging residents in lively conversation.
