Drought Angels
Drought Angels provide direct and timely financial assistance, essential resources and meaningful relief for Primary Producers across Australia impacted by drought and natural disasters.
We are seeking a volunteer to monitor and maintain the health and beauty of the plants and entrance to the Drought Angels office in Chinchilla.
Role description:
- Cultivating, planting, watering, weeding, and pruning the gardens.
- Keeping the pathways, fences, and bins clean and clear.
- Using gardening tools and equipment, such as battery-operated trimmers, leaf blowers etc.
- Monitoring and maintaining the health and beauty of the plants.
- Dealing with pest problems that could damage the plants.
- Following health and safety regulations at all times.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Be punctual, reliable and honest.
- Be able to work as part of a team, participating in all general activities plus under own initiative.
- Have a basic knowledge of gardening.
- Have a love of the outdoors and plant life.
