We are seeking a volunteer to monitor and maintain the health and beauty of the plants and entrance to the Drought Angels office in Chinchilla.

Role description:

  • Cultivating, planting, watering, weeding, and pruning the gardens.
  • Keeping the pathways, fences, and bins clean and clear.
  • Using gardening tools and equipment, such as battery-operated trimmers, leaf blowers etc.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the health and beauty of the plants.
  • Dealing with pest problems that could damage the plants.
  • Following health and safety regulations at all times.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be punctual, reliable and honest.
  • Be able to work as part of a team, participating in all general activities plus under own initiative.
  • Have a basic knowledge of gardening.
  • Have a love of the outdoors and plant life.
