Lifeline Crisis Supporter Working Remotely

Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney

Make a difference to those struggling or experiencing crisis: become a Crisis Supporter with Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney, providing one-off crisis support over the phone to people who could benefit from immediate and short-term assistance to cope with crisis or distress.

We are seeking expressions of interest from people living in the Southern Highlands of NSW who want to train as Crisis Supporters and work remotely from their own homes.

You do not need any specific qualifications to volunteer as a Crisis Supporter. We provide Crisis Supporter Workplace Training (CSWT) that builds skills of members of the general public in becoming Lifeline Crisis Supporters.

Benefits:

  • Volunteer locally and have an impact nationally
  • Nationally accredited qualification upon determination of final competency
  • Opportunity to contribute to the leading national crisis support organisation
  • Give back to the community
  • Develop new skills for personal and professional growth
  • Offer hope to people in crisis
  • Join the vibrant Lifeline community and be part of Lifeline's mission to save lives from suicide
