Transport Volunteers support prisoners and offenders in the community by transporting them to:

  • medical appointments
  • job interviews & job network agencies appointments
  • rehabilitation programs
  • supervision appointments
  • housing appointments
  • plus many other areas of support unique to individual offenders.

This role is rewarding and important for the reintegration of prisoners back into the community, supporting stable home lives and contributing to the lower rates of re-offending and social isolation.

Government vehicles will be provided for volunteers to use in this role.
