Do you have a passion for wildlife and a desire to make a difference in your community? Consider joining our team as an Op Shop volunteer! Our program is designed for individuals who want to support wildlife conservation efforts in Western Australia but not necessarily want to work with wildlife directly. We have stores in Hilton and Yangebup. As an Op Shop volunteer, you'll play a vital role in supporting the WA Wildlife Hospital by raising funds that go towards providing care and rehabilitation for sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. No prior experience is necessary - we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed in this role. Our minimum commitment is just one 4.5 hour shift per week/fortnight, with shifts running from 8:30am-1:00pm or 1:00pm-5:30pm (Mon-Sat). Joining our team as an Op Shop volunteer is a great way to meet new people, develop new skills, and make a positive impact in your community. Every sale you make helps make a difference in the lives of wildlife in need. So why wait? Join us today and start making a difference by volunteering in our Op Shop and supporting wildlife conservation efforts in Western Australia! Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Greeting customers
  • Processing sales and donations (cash and eftpos)
  • Merchandising
  • Cleaning the store including change rooms and storage areas
  • Steaming/ironing clothes
  • Sorting donations
