The gift of your time is invaluable to us. The Caroline Chisholm Society materialised from the generous offering of one person’s commitment and compassion to walk alongside and support pregnant women and young families.

We are inundated with requests for material aid and would like help to get these out the door.

  • This includes packing items that are already sorted
  • Possible drop offs at doorstep or hospital – can be discussed further according to preference.
  • Require 1-2 days a week, for 8 – 10 weeks. Room for ongoing work.
  • Christmas Toy Drive – working at our Santa Shop and gift wrapping.

Skills Required

  • Values: Understand and share the values and objectives of the Caroline Chisholm Society with preparedness to advocate for those values
  • Communication and people skills: Oral communication skills with the ability to respond to direction and engage with colleagues, including as an equal with volunteers.
  • Judgment: Ability to identify risks (be they ethical, financial, or occupational, health and safety), raise them with a supervisor and follow systems to manage those risks. *Time Management: Ability to prioritise tasks and willingness to be flexible
