This volunteer opportunity will help to Assist in setting up and packing down for regular and one-off hub events, assisting with community engagement

The Community Hub engages with the local community in a wide variety of ways, from referred family support and counselling programs, to crisis support, practical food relief and multicultural programs. The staff consists of Family Support Workers, Community Support Workers, Child and Adolescent Counselors and Administration support. We are a friendly, supportive team who are always keen to hear new ideas and work with the community to find new and innovative ways to support and increase the capacity of people in our region.

Tasks involved include: ▪️ Assisting with physical set up and pack down of regular activities such as Pantry Day. ▪️ Assisting with physical set up and pack down of larger one-off activities such as Harmony Day, Expo, etc ▪️ Assisting with food preparation and serving ▪️ Greeting and engaging with community members at events ▪️ Working with the team to consult with the community to attract new ideas for Hub programs and activities

▪️ Experience working with a diverse range of community members and families,
