As a Volunteer Fundraiser, you will play a vital role in helping us raise the necessary funds to provide sports opportunities and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in our community. • Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies to support the financial needs of our Special Olympics Club.
• Engage with potential donors, sponsors, and partners who share our passion and values.
• Plan and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives that captivate our audience and generate donations.
• Utilise various channels, including social media and online platforms, to promote fundraising efforts and engage the community.
• Collaborate closely with the executive committee and social media team to maximise fundraising opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of donors, donations, and fundraising activities.
• A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Understanding of the unique challenges and rewards of fundraising in the not-for-profit sector.
• Creativity and an ability to think outside the box to generate new and exciting fundraising ideas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with donors, sponsors, and community members.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities to plan and execute successful fundraising activities.
