This volunteer opportunity will help to assist in the running all aspects of a retail shop to directly fund our 24-hour crisis support line. Your few hours volunteering can and will save lives!

Your energetic contribution of time to assist with donations, shop presentation and point of sale. We invite anyone with a customer first approach to service to join our volunteer team.

We are seeking volunteers available to support us specifically on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturdays

Lifeline Adelaide Street is one of 40 stores located in the Greater Brisbane Region. Our staff and volunteers come from all walks of life, all age groups and varied backgrounds and cultures. We all come together to provide an eclectic variety of goods for our customers and raise much-needed funds for our crisis/suicide support services.

Tasks involved include: ◾ Point of Sale transactions ◾Stock preparation ◾Shop presentation ◾Labelling and pricing stock ◾Customers service

Skills Required: ◾ Good communication skills ◾ Customer service or retail experience advantageous but not essential
