About The Company Playgroup NSW is the peak body representing playgroups across NSW. We are a not-for-profit and for purpose organisation that has supported families and strengthened local communities for over 50 years.

Our Purpose is to lead and support play-based programs and services for NSW families with children birth to school age, offering opportunities for shared experiences, and family support, which will result in active citizens and inclusive communities. Our Vision is to positively impact every NSW child, their family and community in the first 2,000 days of life.

We are currently looking for Volunteers to facilitate and support families with Community Playgroups

About this Unique Opportunity: We are looking for passionate people to join Playgroup NSW’s network of Community volunteers in their local area!

This role would involve co-ordinating a local community playgroup (either existing or new) . PGNSW will provide all the support you require to open, operate and develop your local Community playgroup.

This role would suit someone who is:

• May only have a limited time to volunteer – it would only be a few hours each week

• excited about early learning

• Loves to play

• happy to be working alongside children and families and

• may be looking for an entry into the world of early education.

About you:

• Interest in Early Education

• Bright, Bubbly and fun!

• Organized and reliable

• Working With Childrens Check (mandatory)
