  • Supervision and opportunities for learning and development

In recent years, our customer John's reduced mobility has impacted his ability to participate in his hobbies and interests. John feels most at home whilst sitting on a pier deck, fishing line in hand, watching the tide. John spent his working life as a marine biologist and spent many years exploring the Great Barrier Reef and its abundant flora and fauna. John would love to be connected with a fellow ocean enthusiast to support him to reconnect with these interests and to perhaps share in conversation fishing line in hand.

If you have an interest in supporting people 65+ to reconnect with their interests and community please apply!

We offer opportunities in skill and knowledge development, as well as ongoing support and mentoring. Good communications skills and the ability to work independently are a must. Having a driver’s licence/access to own vehicle is highly desired but not essential. We value diversity in lived experience, language, skills and abilities.
