AYLA Inc. is seeking reliable, flexible Cafe Assistant to volunteer in their cafe, which supports the op shop DION Charity Marketplace, one of their social enterprises to raise funds for individuals and families in need. This in turn assists AYLA Inc. to continue operating a 7 day a week Foodbank, as well as their LGBTQIA+ Youth Accommodation.

Volunteers receive the opportunity to give back to the community in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Key Tasks

Use of the coffee machine to prepare coffee for valued customers. Hot and cold food preparation, as required (e.g., preparing sandwiches, pasta, rice dishes etc). Assisting with the set up and clearing of the café. Labelling of food items. Preparing vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes as required. Customer orders. *Preparing food according to set specifications and customer
