We are currently seeking a Social Volunteer to spend time enjoying the great outdoors and the sunshine with a resident in care at HammondCare Woy Woy, She enjoys walking, singing, dancing, music and gardening.

You'll be helping her to maintain her mobility as well as their healthy wellbeing and confidence as you take in the sights of the broader grounds. No fitness level required as this is a social outing with light paced exercise.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is an Australian Government initiative established to promote links between elderly people and their local community.
