Spend time with people who are living with dementia and assist care staff by keeping residents company around mealtimes. You'll find this volunteer opportunity rewarding as you make mealtimes an enjoyable experience. Some of our residents require full assistance with feeding and if you are interested, we will provide support and training.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
