Save the Children are looking for friendly and reliable Op Shop Volunteers.

This is a great opportunity if you’re seeking retail work experience, recently retired, or looking to meet some new people and give back to the community.

They will show you what to do and provide all the training you’ll need. Volunteers come from all walks of life, they’re of all ages, friendly and dedicated, and just waiting to welcome you as part of their brilliant team.

Key Tasks

Customer service: processing sales, engaging with customers, greeting & helping customers Preparing stock for sale: pricing and hanging, steaming clothing, researching items *Store Presentation: updating displays, rotating stock, changing mannequins, filling shelves

About Save the Children

Our Op Shops are solely run with dedicated volunteers to help us fundraise through the sales of pre-loved items. All profits from our Op shop's support vulnerable kids here in WA, across Australia and overseas as well through programs that keep kids healthy, in school and protected from abuse. Save the Children also provided crisis aid and are a voice for children by standing up for their rights.
