Logo for genU

Our six-week cooking course aims to inspire senior participants to get cooking. Create healthier meals which are easy to adapt and replicate at home with a small portion size (1 – 2 people). Our small class sizes (four people) create a supportive environment where everyone gets to know one another and share conversation. However, we need your help!

Your contribution will play a key role in creating a positive and empowering experience for our clients as they learn healthy cooking techniques for their individual needs!

For you:

  • Share your passion for cooking with those who truly appreciate it!
  • Learn some new healthy easy to follow recipes
  • Share a meal with participants at the end of class
  • Learn from our qualified dietician
  • Your time will directly impact the lives of our elderly clients, enhancing their culinary abilities, and fostering a sense of community.

  • Be welcomed into genU’s friendly and inclusive workplace.

About you:

  • Comfortable in the kitchen, with a well-rounded knowledge of food safety.
