Advocare is an independent, community based, not-for-profit organization supporting and protecting the rights of older people in Western Australia through information, advocacy and education. We support older people to make informed choices that best suit them. We assist older West Australians to understand their rights and resolve any issues they have with aged and home care service provision. We help people access the right supports and protections available to them. As an ACVVS Volunteer you'll visit a client in their home, or in an aged care facility, and take part in activities with them like: -Having a cuppa and a chat -Listening to music -Playing card games -Going for walks -Video or telephone catch ups -Letter writing
