Logo for Forever Friends Animal Rescue

Established in 2011, Forever Friends Animal Rescue (FFAR) is a registered charity founded and run by over a thousand animal-loving volunteers. We save homeless companion animals and farm animals on death-row in pounds and shelters, provide the necessary veterinary treatment and rehabilitation, then find them loving forever homes. We also operate an Animal Rehabilitation Sanctuary on 100 acres in the Yarra Ranges of Victoria.

FFAR is governed by a voluntary Board of four that oversees governance and strategic direction and a voluntary Management Committee of twelve that primarily oversees operational activities, led by Director and Co-Founder Saskia Adams.

FFAR is one of the largest ‘all species’ rescue organisations in Victoria and to date, has saved more than 11,000 lives. In 2021 FFAR received the nationwide award for Outstanding Rescue Group in the Pet Insurance Australia Companion Animal Rescue Awards.
