  • Noble Park: Tuesday 3.00pm - 5.00pm.
  • West Warrnambool: Wednesday 3.00pm - 5.00pm.
  • East Warrnambool: Tuesday 3.00pm-5.00pm.
  • Dandenong: Saturdays during the school term 9.30am–12.30pm.
  • Heidelberg: Tuesday 3.00pm- 5.00pm.
  • Northcote: Wednesday 3.00pm - 5:00pm.
  • Melton: Wednesday 3.15pm - 5.15pm.

The Good Works you will be involved in: Our Education Program volunteers are passionate about learning and seek to motivate the young participants in our programs with this enthusiasm.

You may work with a small group of students to develop a love of reading and discussing of books. It will be incredibly motivating seeing the students develop in their education thanks to your support.

As a volunteer you will be able to:

  • First and foremost, read with the students or support them to complete their homework;
  • Help students from a range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds to develop their social and language skills in a fun learning environment;
  • Provide direction, support and guidance to the students where needed.

We are looking for people with:

  • A positive attitude!
  • A passion for helping others and giving back to your local community;
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills;
  • An ability to build rapport in a respectful manner with people from a range of backgrounds and cultures;
  • The ability to act with empathy and without judgement;
  • The ability to commit to shifts once a week at least 2 school terms;
  • A passion to join a supportive, like-minded and committed team of volunteers who make a real difference in the lives of young people
