Role: Pastoral Care Buddy As a pastoral care buddy, you will play a crucial role in providing spiritual and emotional support to our client, Joey. Active involvement with a local church is a requirement for this position, as it will enable you to connect deeply with Joey and help him stay connected to his local community while engaging in his religious practices.

Key Details:

• Availability: Ideally, you'll be available for 2-3 hours every Saturday, committing to a minimum of 6 months or longer.
• Orientation: To ensure you have all the information you need, successful applicants will receive an online orientation before starting their volunteering journey.
• Clearance Requirements: As part of our commitment to safety, you'll need to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Clearance, both of which we will arrange for you.
• Health Requirements: In adherence to health guidelines, all volunteers must have a current flu vaccination, or willing to obtain. Covid-19 vaccinations and boosters are recommended for all volunteers.
