Logo for genU

The genU Carers Choir is one of genU’s support for carers programs!

Our carer groups provide an opportunity for carers to meet others who are in a similar situation, catch up for a cuppa, make new friends, while sharing their love of music.

We are seeking a volunteer to share their musical talents with our choir group of carers.

You would be required to play music from our song books, on a musical instrument of your choosing that you provide.

A keyboard is available for use, and you will play with our bass player.

Through your volunteer role:

  • Utilize your musical talents to make a positive impact in your community.
  • Form social connections with our small five-person choir.

About you:

  • Have excellent musical skills:
  • Enjoy communicating and interacting with others.
  • Are dependable, confident, and able to work in a group setting.

Time Commitment:

Tuesdays from 1:00 – 2:00pm, weekly and at ad hoc performance events throughout the year.
