The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme coordinates volunteers to visit people who are socially isolated and whose quality of life would be improved by friendship and a regular visit from a volunteer.

We are seeking a female volunteer who would enjoy visiting a care recipient within a Residential Aged Care Home in Aspley. The care recipient, who was a registered nurse, enjoys being read to and chatting about tennis or quilting. Your hours can vary from 1 hour per fortnight upwards with times and days arranged to suit yourself and the recipient.
