Volunteer to change lives. Yours included. This volunteer opportunity will help to assist the Community Support Worker in the running of the Agnes Water Youth Forum.

As a response to the Agnes Water community, The Uniting Care - Community Support Service has developed a Youth Forum. This will give the Youth a platform to express their voice about what happens within the community.  

Are you a Discovery Coast resident? (Agnes, Baffle creek, Miriam Vale, Rosedale, Lowmead, Turkey Beach, 1770) 

Do you enjoy craft, music, cooking and fun?   Would you like to share your skills (or just observe theirs) with the youth in the Agnes Water area? 

If you are interested in helping out our Community Support Worker with the Forum and are compassionate, caring and like to work with young people please contact us.

Uniting Care Agnes Water consists of an amazing team of paid workers and volunteers.  We are all driven by our passion to help the beautiful community and the wonderful people who live here to grow and thrive.

Tasks involved include: ▪️ Setting up and cleaning up for the forum  ▪️ Participation and guidance in activities such as , cooking, craft and games ▪️ Supervision of group and leadership activities ▪️ General administration duties, eg, printing, collating and data collection.

Skills Required: An interest in or experience working with children and young people would be preferred. 

This role is accessible for people using: The community hall is accessible for people using a wheelchair however the Uniting Care office is not.
